markrobertsnz: A 10 kilogram plus New Zealand snapper caught from the beach by the young gentleman shown.  Location: Whakaki Beach, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand.  Taken with an Olympus E3 and Zuiko 12-60mm lens with polarising filter fitted. These fish reflect light, so the polarising filter is useful. It makes the sky a little unnaturally dark, but post processing can fix that. The image is to be a cover shot for the fishing magazine I write for. My first one.
